Our growing season may be in transition and the produce sales quiet, but things at the farm are far from stagnant. Rocky Park Farm is thrilled to announce that after receiving a USDA grant in the spring of 2023, which covered the cost of building up to 3,000 SF of new greenhouse space, the day finally arrived! On October 27, 2023 the hard-working crew from Scenic Acres Greenhouse Mfg arrived to raise the “roof” on the beautiful new addition to the Rocky Park Farm landscape.
The new greenhouse is going to greatly elevate what we can grow and when. Our farm family has already begun working to seed the soil that will fill up the new produce beds to be built within the confines of this abundant space. Despite the hard work ahead, we’re very excited about what is to come
