Dear patrons & friends,

The owners and staff of Rocky Park Farm are excited to invite you to join us on the next leg of our journey. As mentioned a while ago, the heart behind and mission of the farm from inception has been community-centric, in our long-term goal of helping to fight food insecurity in Blount County, Tennessee.

Since confirming our 501(c)(3) non-profit status last year, we are confident that now is the time to firmly move forward in that mission! Several months ago we began a strategic rebranding process to better engage others toward this goal.

Your patronage equals a partnership:

What does that mean for you, our PATRONS?

Point blank, it makes you our PARTNERS in this endeavor – a partnership that we hope brings you back even more often knowing that instead of a purchase, you are DONATING the cost of the produce you take away with you, back into the farm, to help us grow more food to pour into our great community, and helping to feed those experiencing food insecurity in Blount County, TN.

Many years ago Rocky Park Farm began donating portions of our produce to one particular organization that feeds a slew of people on a weekly basis. That need and our ability to help has grown over time.

How will this work?

Starting April 1, 2025 all produce (unless otherwise stated) will be priced at $7/lb and every purchase will be considered a DONATION (yes, keep your receipts if you choose since it is tax deductible). However, the farm stand availability will come second to our M-F distributions to ministries and schools across Blount County.

Buying produce at the farm stand is not the only way you can partner with us. We would gratefully accept any monetary or other types of donations that you might discuss with us in person (seeds, equipment/supplies, and volunteerism come to mind).

In the coming weeks and months we will share who our amazing community partners are – those on the front lines serving neighbors in need. We hope to bring not only recognition to these organizations but also deeper community support.

Thank you in advance for being our Patron Partners as we continue to grow our beautiful produce for a broader cause! Please message or call us with any questions you may have.

Sincerely,

The Kirksey’s & the RPF Team
